The final exam is cumulative (chapt 12,14,22-32). Because something
was not on a test does not mean it will not be on the final and vice versa. This is
a large amount of information, remember, I am more likely to ask questions about
fundamentals. Some chapters were only briefly covered. The only topic on the
final from chapt 12 will be conservation of angular momentum. The only topic from
chapt 32 will be Maxwell's equations. Be able to write them down and explain their
significance. For lists of topics from the other chapters, check out the other
review sheets.
Final Format:
There will likely be around 10 problems, a few short problems, and a few multiple choice
questions. I plan to construct the final so that 3 hours is plenty of time to
complete the exam.
Have a Great Break!
