Prelab to Measuring the Earth's Magnetic Field

Prelab Due at the beginning of your lab period
Lab Handout is available outside my office door.

1. Read the lab handout.
2.  The goal of this lab will be to measure Earth's magnetic field.  This value is actually a function of positon on Earth, among other things.  Find, by research in texts or the www , an approximate value of the magnetic field on Earth.  I actually found a source which let me input my latitude, longitude, and elevations and then told me the magnetic field at that point.
3.  Also answer the prelab question in the lab handout.

You will be writing another formal report with this lab.
